Community Involvement

Bernd has served on the board of directors for Family Promise since 2012 and is currently the Vice Chair.  Family Promise of Orange County believes that no child should have to sleep in a car, in a park, or under a bridge, and that every family deserves a chance to be whole and have a roof over their head once again. They help homeless families achieve housing stability by providing short term shelter, meals, case-management and hospitality.

Bernd and his family have been active members of KOG for over 6 years. He currently  is involved in various ministries. His children attend the church's youth groups and his wife works as secretary of the church office.
